OK it might not look that different but underneath its a lot different. We have loads of new things coming soon and if their s anything you would like to see just email me.

Hastings and Ore Photographic Club provides a friendly, inclusive environment for those who wish to talk, see, learn and practice photography.

We meet at St Leonards Methodist Church, Upper Park Road, St. Leonards-on-Sea, TN37 6SJ at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start every other Tuesday from September to May. Check the Programme for the current agenda where you will also find information about the workshops, tutorials and summer outings that have been organised for this season.

As well as workshops and tutorials, to encourage full engagement with photography, the club holds several print and digital image competitions each season with external judges whose commentary can be instrumental in improving skills for beginners and the more experienced alike. The dates of all competitions are in the Programme and the conditions of entry are in the Competition Rules.

Despite the necessity for Club Rules, our aims and objectives are to provide facilities for members to exchange views and ideas in black and white, colour and digital photography in an informal atmosphere and to provide members with facilities for the advancement of the art of photography in a practical, theoretical and competitive manner.

For a sneak peak at what we have been up  to recently, check out the News page which members are encouraged to contribute to with articles such as information about a successful image they made, an event preview/review, accounts of club activities….

Please feel free to enjoy a variety of club images, some of which achieved varied success in the Kent and Sussex County Competitions this year:

After Committee meetings on zoom it seems that the only way for the club to continue until restrictions are lifted.

Details will have been sent to members from the year 2019/2020.
Details of meetings will be posted on the website and on our facebook page Here.
